At no point in time, have we seen people power impacting the planet as it is today: from the people of Egypt, Tunisia and Libya becoming powerful voices and catalysts for change; to the many amazing projects, programmes and organisations popping up all over the world to create more vibrant, sustainable living; to the impact of the Internet and social media in opening up our communities and worlds and creating a medium for movement and change. It is a time where global consciousness and awareness of our human ability to create our world anew is higher than it has ever been and is continuously evolving.

As young people are growing up in this changing consciousness they are reaching adulthood with an amazing mix of knowledge, self-awareness and understanding of the world and themselves like at no other time. There is a power in the voices of the young, a power and freshness that is shifting and shaping our communities, that is creating a rich weave in the fabric of our future society.
