Fellow Resonators!
A "Perfect Storm" of disaster is hitting the U.S.A. I sit long hours literarily cheering some and battling others. A monstrous Oil Spill threatens vital WildLife Breeding Areas. My natal hometown of Nashville Tennessee has had a flood that soaked the Grand Old Opera. An incompetent would-be-bomber tried to kill Saturday Night Theatre Goers in NYCs Times Square. In my current state, fear mongers are trying to blame a drug war on the hard woking Mexican People that have been allowed to work here for years.
I should be HORRIFIED. Why am I not? EVERY DARK CLOUD it is said HAS A SILVER LINING. Consciousness, Care, Love of HUMANITY, RENEWED ACTiVISM and interest in the Environment is what these wake up calls reap.
As a long time student of the TAO, I know that every force has an equal and opposing force. Spiritual People of Resonant Networks are the very ones that make a difference in these trying times. While I remind some ON TWITTER that it's time to stop our use of obsolete oil for fuel, Simultaneously, I call out to PEOPLE Like YOU that Visualize Change. May I include YOU in this call? PLEASE Visualize the Gulf Oil Spill eddying in the gulf AWAY from the Coast. I sent this call to Resonant Networks, the Dali Lama, and Gaian Collective and others. The spill IS currently eddying in the gulf. I pray, meditate, and continue to VISUALIZE it staying there. Please for a moment or as long as you have motivation or energy to do this: SEE the Fish Like shape of the spill staying away from shore. THANK YOU!
I would be the last to work against the natural flow of forces and Karma, but I do pray for the People of Nashville and trust the Can Do spirit of my Countrymen to aid Nashville.
We can only keep reaching out to other People of all Continents and Nationalities to end terror, but I can recognize the fault of the politics of the USA in continuing unjust, and I feel, unjustly initiated wars. I work with those here that want to BRING HOME OUR TROOPS and to 'study war no more'.
Having completed a 2 year course in Film and digital Video Editing, I am energized that working to help the Immigration Laws of the USA allow citizenship for those Mexican/Americans that, in the vast majority, are an asset to this country. I am actively involved in the reform movement and am working almost daily to help teach English and learn Spanish.
My family had a saying: Every knock is a boost. As an Adult I find this true. Why do I feel so good? TAi Chi, by the pool helps. When long hours tweeting have sapped me, I go outside and hear the musical laughter of many little happy Mexican/American Children. Beauty heals and restores. So my passing advice to fellow RESONATORS: Let the beauty of Earth and Life fill you when your battles and cares seem to be a dark cloud that has taken all your joy. LIFE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. Lets all work hard and unceasingly to keep it that way.
